Popeye's famous elixir has not really become a movie hero. When the old man pulls out the canning and pours it on his neck, there is an amazing energy stored in it, which effectively inflates the muscles and gives creeps. We rarely find in nature any other plant that can stimulate the growth and regeneration process of the body so quickly. Very tasty as food (pulled in butter and flavored with garlic), the sweet spinach leaves its powers in juices, now recommended, in spring, when the plant is young and full of so many vitamins and energies.
It can be prepared in several ways: by centrifugation, by mixing and manually. Centrifugation is a major consumer of raw materials, especially if the spinach is not freshly harvested or if it has not had enough water during vegetation, which is why the other two methods are preferred.
Manual preparation: Cut two hands of spinach leaves as finely as possible, then add over the cut leaves 200 ml of water (one glass). After adding the water, make a mixture with a wooden spoon, so that the spinach leaves to leave as much juice. Allow to macerate 4-6 hours, at room temperature, then strain. The juice obtained will be consumed immediately after filtering, while the remaining leaves can be used in food, salads, etc.
Preparation with the mixer: Put 200 ml (one glass) of water in the mixer jar, then gradually add two cloves of spinach leaves. After the spinach is chopped until it forms a paste, put it in a ceramic pot and leave to macerate for 2-3 hours, after which it is strained. The juice is drunk immediately after filtering, the pasta can be added to the cooked food.
Administration: To have a strong effect, spinach juice is drunk on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning. To improve its taste (willow), at first it can be combined with a little carrot juice and lemon.
What ailments cure
- hardener in the diet of children, elderly and convalescent: drink one glass of juice a day, before the main meal. If it causes inattention or mild nausea, take 1-2 slices of grapefruit or lemon.
- physical and nervous depressions: drink a glass of spinach juice every morning. In the mixture left at the macerate add 2-3 tips of thyme knife, and the maceration will be done 4-5 hours.
- chronic pancreatitis, post-pancreatic insufficiency: 100 ml fresh juice + 30 g apicol pollen (powder) per day, on an empty stomach.
- cancer: used as an adjuvant; drink 500 ml of juice a day on an empty stomach.
- Scurvy, rickets: drink half a liter of juice a day, for 21 days, in halves, with a quarter of an hour before the main tables. A stronger effect will be obtained if we combine 250 ml nettle juice with 250 ml spinach juice.
- anemia, demineralization: drink before the main meals a combination of juices: 100 ml spinach juice + 100 ml nettle juice.
- asthma, diabetes: drink in the morning, on an empty stomach, 500 ml spinach juice. The cure is at least 30 days.
- ischemic heart disease, hypertension, palpitations, atherosclerosis: 1 glass of spinach juice per day.
contraindications: It is not recommended to consume large quantities of spinach in the case of people with liver disorders, rheumatism, renal lithiasis, intestinal inflammation.
