Spinach and feta rolls are served as appetizers, along with other dishes, during Swedish buffet parties and beyond.
300 g sheets for the pie
200 g of spinach leaves washed and dried
200 feta cheese
1 you tie
1 tablespoon of olive oil
100 g melted butter
Method of preparation
In a pan heat the oil, add the spinach and let it soften. Take out in a strainer and chop the spinach, then place it in a large bowl.
Chop the feta cheese over the spinach and add the egg, chopped greens, salt and pepper. Grease with melted butter the first sheet and then put the second over the first and grease. Cut the sheets lengthwise, in two, put a tablespoon of stuffed cheese and spinach at the end of the dough rectangle, leaving a margin of 2 cm on both sides.
Roll the dough over the filling to close it, then fold both ends and continue rolling as if you were making a cigarette. Repeat the process with the other sheets.
Put the rolls in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until they become charred and Romanian.
