Some children may experience stinging, headache or vomiting. Even if in the first phase an allergic reaction can cause itching in the skin, it can trigger the lungs, heart or even the eyes. There are also crisis situations in which the child panics, but that is why there are trained personnel to take action in such cases.

Every child should have a doctor who looks after their health. Thus, the medical record can present exactly the history of the child and the allergies to which he is predisposed, if any.

Usually, the family doctor sends the parent to go with the child to a specialist doctor, namely an allergist who can give him a diagnosis and recommend a special treatment for the allergy he has.

How should parents act in such cases?

Parents who have children allergic to food substances should work with the specialist doctor. After the tests have been performed and the test shows clearly what the child is allergic to, the doctor will recommend to the parent a plan that he will have to follow in crisis situations.

The most important measure any parent should take is to avoid as much as possible the foods to which the little one is allergic. In fact, it is important for any food label to be read.
