How is self-treatment carried out?
For self-treatment, use the same positions you have learned to treat other people. Start with the preference from the head, then go through all the positions systematically, until you finally reach the feet. Do not miss the places on the back that you can reach quite comfortably, such as the kidney region. If due to problems (for example, you have difficulty getting your hands on your feet) one or the other of the positions is out of your reach, simply give up.
Since Reiki energy is distributed throughout the body, even the most intimate places will eventually be sufficiently cared for. You must hold your hands in each position until the sensation of itching, or of the heat, that you feel gradually disappears.
Observe your sensations meticulously. Treat each part of the body with the same attention, even if you feel like some claim more Reiki energy than others.
